At Marble Lotus, we pride ourselves in providing 100% natural + handmade home decor goods. At the foundation of what we do are Karigars (craftsmen). Our designers are the brain behind any product, but product is made possible because of the intricate handwork done by Karigars, the true creators.
We rely on the talent and skill of artisans to create beautiful and unique products. These artisans pour their heart and soul into their work, often spending hours or even days creating a single item. Yet, their work is often undervalued and under-appreciated. As a handmade home decor brand, it is important to recognize the value of these artisans and to uplift them in every way possible.

- Appreciating artisans begins with understanding the time, effort, and skill that goes into their work. Each artisan has a unique set of skills, and it is important to recognize and celebrate their individual strengths. By showcasing the time it takes to make these products, we help our customers gain appreciation for the artisans' crafts.
- Another way to uplift artisans is by paying them fairly for their work. This not only helps to support their livelihood but also ensures that they can continue to create beautiful pieces for people all over the world. We are a new brand and we currently source from artisans that have +15 years of experience in their field. We are also working on establishing our giving back program by which we can directly impact the lives of the artisans creating our products.
- Providing artisans with training and resources to improve their skills is also another way we are exploring giving back to the artisan community. We are exploring how we can give them access to new materials or tools, or offer workshops or training sessions. We want to invest in the development of our artisans, and help them grow and improve their craft.
- Finally, it is important to celebrate the unique stories and cultures behind each artisan's work. Storytelling is at the core of our brand and we have a unique opportunity to showcase the diversity of South Asia's cultures by celebrating the individual stories and experiences of each artisan.
